Mounted and semi-mounted plough in one system
- the tractor’s draft control system transfers weight from mounted ploughs to the rear axle to reduce wheel-slip and fuel consumptions, whilst increasing output. Semi-mounted ploughs do not offer the same weight-transfer possibilities, so a heavy tractor must be used to maintain traction
- VariTansanit combines the benefits of a mounted plough, with those of a semi-mounted plough
- an hydraulic top link automatically transfers weight to and from the tractor when required
- in work, the top link shortens transferring weight to the tractor rear axle to improve traction
- at the headland, or for transport, the top link extends so that the plough’s land-wheel carries the rear weight of the machine
- result: the VariTansanit can be used with lighter tractors the same working quality but lower costs (fuel, capital investment in tractors)
- OptiQuick is fitted as standard to reduce side forces on the tractor
- the support wheel with hydraulic depth adjustment follows the track of the tractor
